We pick our flowers ourselves at the wholesale market
We go to the wholesale market three days a week and hand-pick every cut flower ourselves. We don't sell flowers that have been sitting in a cold room. If we have leftovers in the evening, we sell them at half price. We work this way so the bouquet you get is today's flower.
Why we pick our own flowers at the wholesale market
Flowers aren't a durable thing. If you buy wholesale and let them sit in a cold room for days, they last two days in a vase and people don't come back to that shop again. We go to the market three days a week and pick them ourselves, and we don't keep more stock than we need. We sell what's left in the evening at half price — better that it goes that day than sit and wait.
